Your Dental Fillings Could Be Killing You! — And Not Just the Mercury in Your “Silver” Fillings

Incompatible Filling Materials Can Suppress Immune Responses, Says Internationally Respected Holistic Dentist Dr. David Villarreal

He Performs a Blood Compatibility Evaluation to Pick the Right Material for Your Body

Newbury Park, CA – You might have heard that mercury in your “silver fillings” could be harmful to your health, but that’s not all that could be slowly killing you!

Any dental material in your mouth that is not compatible with your particular body chemistry is likely to be suppressing and stressing your immune system, says Dr. David Villarreal, an international renowned leader in holistic dentistry. The suppression of the immune system can lead to a host of illnesses from frequent colds to autoimmune diseases to far worse conditions.

“Traditional medical practitioners and the public at large do not realize that what occurs in the mouth doesn’t end at the neck. The mouth is the gateway to our overall health and impacts nearly every aspect of the body.” says Villarreal, a leading spokesman for bio-compatible dentistry.

Villarreal employs a procedure that ensures there is a perfect match between your filling material and individual body chemistry. Performing a blood compatibility evaluation, he pinpoints the right material and offers dozens of different aesthetically pleasing composites – whichever works best to maintain optimum health and help heal the immune system.

Villarreal’s practice, BioDental Healing in Newbury Park, CA, is also renowned for the strict bio-protective protocols that he employs in removing silver amalgam fillings with mercury in them. Amalgam fillings contain 50% mercury, which is the most toxic, non-radioactive element on Earth—more toxic than lead, arsenic or cadmium, according to scientists. Studies show that mercury—heavy metal poisoning–has been linked to Multiple Sclerosis, ALS, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, Lupus, Parkinson’s, arthritis and many other auto immune diseases, not always apparent until many years after the filling is applied. Removing them can be dangerous to all parties when particles are released into the air. Most European countries banned mercury fillings nearly 40 years ago.

Villarreal employs a host of procedures that protect everyone in the process. The doctor and his team don special protective gear including gas mask, gloves and contamination-free coverings, and the patient is provided complete draping and protective eyewear. Using extra protective covering in the patient’s mouth and a suction system that ensures all significant mercury particles are contained – they take it a step further by using an ionizer in the room and a mercury separator that ensures none gets into water systems or oceans (and which is periodically cleared by the EPA for proper disposal).

A naturopathic doctor is on hand to administer intravenous vitamin C in order to help pull the heavy metals out of the system so they can exit the body as waste. The vitamin C also offsets any possible negative health consequences or withdrawal symptoms that may arise from the extraction of the heavy metals from the system. “This is called Ozone dentistry,” says Villarreal, “We’re purifying and sterilizing the tooth so it can be filled with a more healthful alternative. But it’s important to note that there are many white fillings that also have heavy metals in them.”

People come from as far away as Europe and South Africa to have their mercury fillings removed by Villarreal in a non-toxic and environmentally safe way. He has removed more than 20,000 in his 30-year career. Filling removal accounts for 75% of his practice.

“But what gives me the most satisfaction is that people report back that they have seen significant overall health benefits and often the elimination of specific conditions that they didn’t perceive were related to their teeth at all,” says Villarreal. “Physicians and dentists have been using mercury for more than 200 years. But we are way past old fashioned dentistry. Today, we have the ability to ensure more than oral health with bio-compatible materials and practices.”

Would You Climb Mount Everest To Help Prevent Human Trafficking?  Newbie Mountain Climber, Sara Safari, Risks it!

Irvine, CA – Sara Safari is a young woman who is inspired by the plight of lower caste girls in Nepal and has decided to go beyond her limit and plans to climb the world’s highest mountain to raise funds and awareness.

Safari moved to the United States with her family when she was 20 years old and continued studying electrical engineering at UCLA, graduating summa cum laude in 2009. While teaching at California State University Fullerton, she met Dr. Jeffrey Kottler, founder of the Empower Nepali Girls Foundation.

He started the organization in 2001 to identify, mentor, support, and educate primarily lower caste girls in Nepal. Many of these girls would otherwise have been forced into early marriage or sex slavery. They provide scholarships for 290 girls, 30 of whom are now attending college and university, the first girls in their villages to ever do so. Many are pursuing careers in medicine, engineering, business and education. ENG is a 100% volunteer organization and has no paid staff.

One of Sara’s passions is mountain climbing, which began as a new hobby with no prior experience and eventually became more serious as she trained to climb different mountains all over the world. As Sara learned about ENG and its activities, she began to realize how the Nepali girls’ circumstances inspired her, and she decided to combine her passion with a great cause.

Eventually, her motivation led to a decision to climb the highest peak in the world, Mt. Everest (29,000 ft.), to raise money and awareness regarding human trafficking. She has been training every day for the last two years and in April of 2015, she is going to Nepal to tackle Mt. Everest. Every step she takes will raise funds for Empower Nepali Girls. Currently Safari is a professor of Electrical Engineering at California State University in Fullerton and Southern California Institute of Technology.

The Continuing Struggle For Justice And Peace: Perspectives Of A Street Cop Who Knows There’s No Place For Race

Shreveport. LA – “Black Lives Matter.” “No Justice, No Peace.” “Racism is Tyranny.” “I Can’t Breathe.” Slogans are everywhere, yet it’s a problem too complex to be condensed down to a few words. Veteran homicide detective Rodney Demery draws from a lifetime of experience to delve deeper than race for answers, and his voice rings true.

On an autopsy table, we all look the same. Not black. Not white. Just human. And we all bleed red. With these blunt words, Demery launches a persuasive argument for rejecting race and racial tensions as the root of our crumbling criminal justice system. In his book No Place For Race, (The Demery Group LLC), Demery boldly asserts that worn-out sociopolitical theories generate more divisiveness than anything else; the interjection of racism camouflages what’s really going on. Black police administrators and policy makers may be more responsible for racial profiling than racists, he believes.

After having worked as an investigator for homicides, narcotics, burglaries, armed robberies and sex crimes, Demery has suggestions with the potential to move our communities far beyond academic theories. “I want to start a conversation that moves us away from the same old political and social divisions,” he says. “The book comes from the frustration I feel walking under yellow tape and stepping over pooled blood at yet another crime scene.” Too often, Demery has told mothers their children have been murdered and could only watch helplessly as they sobbed.

A decorated veteran of the United States Navy, Detective Rodney Demery has served the public as an officer of the peace for 25 years. Demery, who served in both Operation Desert Storm and Operation Desert Shield, attended Louisiana State University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. Throughout his career as a police officer, he has worked in three states.

Rodney Demery is African American. He is also the author of Things My Daughters Need to Know: A Cop and Father’s View of Sex, Relationships and Happiness. Part advice column, part memoir, it reached Amazon’s Kindle Best Seller List in July 2011.

Out There: From 320 Pounds to Pro Athlete. One Man’s True Story of Ultra Recovery From Alcohol, Drugs and Obesity

Lafayette, CO – It’s no surprise that, for many, New Year’s resolutions have already fallen by the wayside. However giving up won’t get us any closer to achieving our goals. Just ask David Clark, a former 320-pound alcoholic, turned pro athlete. Clark’s hard-hitting autobiography, Out There: A Story of Ultra Recovery, proves that persistence and a strong desire will pave the way for success.

Meet David Clark. He grew up poor and homeless, living out of his father’s pickup truck. With no formal education to build upon, he beat the odds. He went from being homeless to owning a chain of 13 retail stores by the time he was 29 years old. However his success was short-lived and he ultimately lost everything due to poor choices and addiction. He had hit rock bottom from reckless eating, binge drinking and popping pills.

Miraculously, reality hit him with the realization that if he didn’t change his ways on that very day, he would surely die. From that day onwards, David drew a line in the sand, leaving his addictions and unhealthy lifestyle in the past. His remarkable journey and refusal to give up, is described as “raw and riveting.”

At 320 pounds and with this new resolve, he started training for the Ultra Marathon, an extreme racing event where runners attempt a grueling 100-mile trek through the Colorado terrain. Runners are allowed a mere 30 hours to complete the race. Not only did he conquer the course in under 30 hours on his first attempt, but he lost more than 150 pounds, and beat his drug addictions. Further, he has competed in and won some of the toughest endurance events in the world. He now uses Ultra sports to help others conquer their own demons.

“If you want to see the world’s greatest athletes, watch an Ironman Triathlon,” says Clark. “The ‘ultra’ world, in contrast, isn’t about outperforming the other participants. It consists mostly of runners who push themselves to the brink of failure in an effort to measure the depth of their own strength.”

Nowadays, David Clark spends his time as a running coach, sponsored runner, inspirational speaker, and gym owner.

Tako’s new release, Cancer Survivorship Coping Tools – We’ll get you through this: Tools for cancer’s emotional pain from a breast cancer and melanoma survivor, focusses on emotional well-being of cancer patients, caregivers and their loved ones.

Hearing “you’ve got cancer” are three words you never forget, according to Barbara Tako. For Tako, it was a powerful awakening of panic, pain and emotional turmoil aside from the fear of the treatments she would be enduring. Her words, as written in her journal during her bouts with cancer, offer a deep insight into the healing process from both physical and mental aspects.

Cancer Survivorship Coping Tools is an honest, and sometimes humorous account of Tako’s process. It features tips for emotional health to foster positivity, no matter where patients are in their personal journey to conquer cancer. The book is a useful tool for family members, friends and caregivers to provide a better understanding of the cancer experience and how they can help.

“I’ll never forget the day my doctor told me I had cancer, or rather the day my life changed forever” says Barbara Tako. “Doctors can address all of the medical aspects of your condition, but who picks you up off of the floor after you’ve been dealt the news and helps you get your ‘game face’ on? It’s my intention to fill that void for cancer patients and their loved ones with this book.”

Meet Barbara Tako. She’s a breast cancer and melanoma survivor, author, organizing/ de-cluttering genius and motivational speaker. She holds a B.A. in English and psychology and lives in Minnesota with her husband, children and furbabies.

Manny Scott Speaks Healing And Hope To The Least, The Last, The Lost, And Left Out

Lawrenceville, GA, – “Mr. Scott I spent almost 45 minutes to an hour online looking up how to kill myself … I almost ended my life. When you came and you gave that speech, I was crying inside. Because I knew then and still know now that my life has meaning. I am important and I do deserve to live.”

For nearly 200 days a year, Manny Scott is on the road talking to educators, teens and young adults, illuminating their value and their potential. With Your Next Chapter: How to Turn the Page and Create the Life of Your Dreams, Manny Scott gives us all access to a powerful and transformative process, one that enabled him to overcome the incredible odds stacked against him.

Your Next Chapter is real, easy to read, and extremely practical, but not simplistic. It touches on topics relevant to all, including how the poor stay poor and the rich get richer; how to eliminate and replace self-sabotaging beliefs; how everything in life is a wing or a weight; what the difference is between being “in love” and being “in lust,” and so much more.

This book is for those who have a feeling in their hearts that they were made for something greater, and who are determined to take hold of more—more hope, more happiness, more peace, more purpose, more success, more money, and more love.

Manny Scott’s story is told in part in the 2007 hit movie, Freedom Writers; he has energized over a million leaders, educators, volunteers, and students. From inner-city youth to business executives, Manny has learned to speak, and command, the language of his audiences with relevant, riveting, and compelling messages, moving them from cheers, to laughter, to tears, and go-forward determination.

By age 14, Manny had missed 60-90 days of school every year and had dropped out. Before he was 17, he had lived in 26 places, and his best friend was brutally murdered. Sensing that the end of his life was near, Manny sat down on a park bench one day and considered how he would make others feel the depth of despair and anger roiling in his soul. Then a complete stranger sat down beside Manny and connected with him, encouraged him, and inspired him to write a different story—to create a new life.

In 2007, Manny Scott founded Ink International, Inc, an educational consulting team that is preventing thousands of suicides, raising student achievement, and improving teacher effectiveness. He is now happily married, a doting father of three, a pilot, a Ph.D. student, and one of the nation’s most sought after speakers.

History’s Most Massive Airlift – The Heroic Sacrifices Of The Hump

Vienna, VA,– In a high-flying narrative flashing between the life of American pilot Ned Thomas and events of World War II, Nedda Thomas recreates her father’s dangerous mission. Lethal and capricious weather conditions, radio silence, the uncharted terrain of the “roof of the world,” and a foe who showed no quarter, meant these pilots put their lives at risk every time they took off. In Hump Pilot (The History Publishing Company), author Nedda Thomas pays homage to the flyers whose skill and courage kept Nation-alist China and Allied Forces in Asia alive. By interweaving the
story of the dashing young pilot who also won the heart of the woman destined to
become his wife, she breathes life and immediacy into these neglected pages of history.

Pilots of the Hump, as they called this critical air supply route over the Himalayas, faced the highest fatality rates of any air-war mission in World War II. The airlift was the
largest the world has ever known, setting the bar for all others to come, including Berlin and Korea.

Calm, genuine, young and courageous, Ned Thomas brings a human dimension to the epic of the Hump. The forbidding Himalayas, Sanskrit for House of Snow, tell their own tale of beauty, danger, and military significance. American climber Clayton Kuhles’
recent expeditions to recover the remains of downed Hump aircraft have helped gain for these lost pilots a new and passionate public.

“The Hump is a larger-than-life epic that deserves to be told,” the author says. “And how better than through the eyes of a man who experienced it, my father Ned Thomas, who brought me up to speed on aircraft and flying in the Asia Theater.” Here’s a story of courage and historical significance, told through the life of a brave man who takes our hearts into the sky.

Nedda Thomas has published numerous articles about creative and significant figures. She also writes poetry, and has worked as a magazine editor. Growing up in a
military/diplomatic family, living in the U.S., France, and the Far East, all expanded her world view. She holds a master’s degree in human development, and attended
seminary. Family memories help nurture her passion for history; she speaks French and English, and lectures on several different topics.
