Renowned real estate and oil and gas entrepreneur Younas Chaudhary has announced the release of his highly anticipated book, Path to Wealth & Wisdom: 100 Commonsense Tips for Self-Growth & Fulfillment. In it, Chaudhary provides practical tips, lessons and reflections drawn from the ups and downs of his own journey on his way to becoming a self-made millionaire.
The book is comprised of 100 brief chapters featuring actionable takeaways about life, business and finance. Dictums such as “Keep meetings short,” “A bottle of Coke can be a luxury” and “7 tips to save money at home” are building blocks that are easy for readers to remember, implement and adapt to their own individual circumstances.
“The format is ideal for readers who are looking for a few quick tips and points of reflection throughout their day,” said Chaudhary, who added that this book will primarily appeal to entrepreneurs, readers interested in motivational business techniques, and those seeking practical business and financial advice. “But this book is not just about money,” he said. “It’s about personal growth and finding your purpose in life.”
Peppered with encouragement, humility and humor, Chaudhary’s insights on how to develop a growth mindset, overcome limiting beliefs, and achieve one’s full potential come from a place of experience and authenticity. From his education in a dilapidated school in Pakistan; to living with 23 others and an array of farm animals in a bustling home (a haveli); to his first sundry work experiences in the West; to the trials and tribulations of the oil and gas industry, Chaudhary has been at the top and at the bottom — with as many struggles as victories.
For those just beginning their journey toward financial freedom or those simply looking to take their lives to the next level, Path to Wealth & Wisdom offers a no-nonsense starting point from a man who took on the world with just a few dollars and a dream.
“This book is for those who have ever doubted themselves or their abilities,” Chaudhary added. “My message is simple: perseverance, consistency and self-belief will make you successful.”
About the Author
Raised in a remote village in Pakistan, Chaudhary built several successful businesses in the U.S. and Canada using a mix of common sense, hard work, consistency and determination. When he first landed in Edmonton, Alberta, in late 1973, Chaudhary had only $30 in his pocket. To change the trajectory of his life, he worked day in and out, rising up from a slaughterhouse worker to a landman, to a successful entrepreneur. Then, just when he thought he had it all, tragedy struck when his wife Bushra was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease and dementia.
This book follows the author’s first autobiographical work, From Dirt Roads to Black Gold, offering his tools and tips for productivity, finance and business — the same ones that allowed Chaudhary to establish himself as a visionary businessman in the volatile oil and gas industry. In it, readers will find practical business and financial advice, as well as wisdom for facing the unexpected twists and turns of life. All proceeds from the sale of Path to Wealth & Wisdom will benefit charitable causes supported by the YBC Foundation (http://ybcfoundation.com).
In addition to his roles as a successful entrepreneur and author, Chaudhary is known for his dedication to philanthropy and community development. His commitment to empowerment and positive change is reflected in both his business endeavors and his writing.

Crippling fear permeated every aspect of Christine Soule’s life from an early age and followed her into adulthood. Her past of brokenness — abuse, dysfunction, addiction and other trauma — could have very well defined her future. But once she turned to God and let Him lead the way, she found a path toward a brighter future.
“The key is discovering who you are in Christ — your true identify. And that’s especially significant if you, like me, have a past of brokenness,” Soule writes in her inspirational story, Broken and Beautiful. “So much of how we see ourselves revolves around the demands our society places on us, insisting we live up to its expectations. Don’t listen to the world. Listen to God.”
Soule’s life was a jumbled pile of broken pieces. Her father was married seven times; her mother four times. Between her parents’ divorce when she was 5 years old and the day she allowed the power and presence of God into her heart, she watched her sister have an affair with her adoptive father; met 15 siblings she never knew at her biological father’s funeral; turned to drugs and alcohol; got pregnant at 17; had twins less than two years later; and became a victim of human trafficking. She had to break the cycle for the sake of her children. With nowhere else to turn, she dropped to her knees and prayed. And that’s when everything changed.
Broken and Beautiful is Soule’s remarkable story of how God took the pieces of her broken, astonishingly dysfunctional life and transformed it all into a breathtaking mosaic of joy and purpose.
“The places where you feel hopeless are exactly what He wants to redeem and fill with beauty, dignity and strength. He has a plan for your pain. A wonderful intention for your failures. A purpose for your hardest, darkest stories,” Soule writes.
Told with honesty and surprising touches of humor, Soule shares her journey from drug- addicted stripper to exuberant Jesus lover with a passion for helping others embrace God’s love. Broken and Beautiful is a raw, authentic story of hope, from a place of experience.
Author Christine Soule lives with the love of her life, Mitch Soule, in Seattle. They have five kids and three wonderful grandchildren. She is the founder and CEO of Providence Heights (www.providenceheights.org), a nonprofit created to house women and children in need and to provide counseling, education and jobs.

This Beautiful Book Invites Readers To Experience The Bible As A Single, Unified Story
The most popular and influential book in the world is also the least understood. Its sheer volume of history, poetry, genealogy and mystifying prophecies can prove puzzling — even intimidating — for readers. And since the Bible is often taught or read in pieces, readers are left with mere fragments of what should be a vibrant, cohesive mosaic.
This Beautiful Book: An Exploration of the Bible’s Incredible Story Line and Why It Matters Today by Steve Green, founder of the Museum of the Bible, with contributions from Bill High, invites readers to freshly engage the Bible and to understand it as one amazing story.
Green takes readers on a journey through the many stories of the Bible, some familiar and others less so, highlighting themes woven throughout the ancient writings.
Drawing upon insights gained through developing the first world-class Bible museum, Green reveals the completeness and transformative power of Scripture. Green helps readers see the story within the story and makes the careful connections that help us appreciate the richness of the Bible as a single story. Each page will spark faith in a God who speaks to us across the centuries.
A truly captivating experience, This Beautiful Book will instill in readers a deep appreciation for Scripture and its profound connection to our own life stories.
Author Steve Green is the President of Hobby Lobby and along with his wife, Jackie, co-founded the Museum of the Bible. He grew up in Oklahoma City. At age 7, he glued picture frames together for the family start-up business. With his father (David Green) as CEO, Steve became the president of that little start-up business, which is now known as Hobby Lobby —the nation’s largest privately held arts and crafts retailer. Over the years, Steve has been on a journey to experience the Bible as one beautiful story.
Bill High practiced law for 12 years before becoming the CEO of The Signatry. His mission is to help others live a life of significance through family, legacy and generosity. He and his wife, Brooke, have four children, two sons-in-law and three grandchildren. He can be found at billhigh.com and thesignatry.com.

Plans For A Quiet Island Life Took A Sharp Turn For This Animal Crusader
Rose’s lifelong dream was to move with her husband and her pottery studio to a Caribbean island, enjoying her morning coffee on the beach and taking her ocean-inspired ideas back to her studio. Her husband would make use of the skills he honed in restaurants in a more laid-back, ocean-side setting. Isla Mujeres, a little island off the coast of the Yucatan Peninsula, seemed to fit the bill. But, oh, were they in for a surprise.
What they encountered after their move was an island overrun with starving, neglected and abused dogs and cats—unsterilized, unwanted animals that wander the streets and are considered a threat to the community’s health. Their unchecked breeding brought more and more puppies into a world where they’d be destined for the same miserable life. Rose couldn’t sit by and watch, and soon started helping in whatever way she could.
Rose’s experiences reflect the real-life journey of author Alison Sawyer Current, who began rescuing in 2001. Her valiant efforts to help dogs and cats grew into the nonprofit Isla Animals, which offers low-to-no cost veterinary care, arranges adoptions, and runs owner education to help whittle the number of animals destined for the same existence.
The problems Alison encountered were numerous. There are no veterinarians in the area so most of the animals are never vaccinated or treated for parasites. The average dog is thin, mangy, and tick and flea infested. Needless to say, they are not welcome inside the home so even dogs that have an owner are subject to the same conditions as street dogs. Since most of the people can’t afford a car, and taxi drivers refuse to pick up passengers with dogs, they have no way to get to a veterinarian… and the cycle just goes on and on.
Readers of The Dog Lady experience a world very different than their own, and see and feel a part of Mexico they could never have imagined. They get to share the journey of Rose, whose life takes an uncharted course into unknown territory, and experience the passion that changed a life forever.
Alison is a recipient of The Doris Day Animal Kindred Spirit Award, and in 2007 she was invited to Mexico City for the first Forum on Small Animal Overpopulation in Mexico. To date, Sawyer has spayed or neutered more than 12,000 animals and promoted adoptions in Mexico, the United States and Canada.

Uganda Christian Orphanage Building Fund Raiser
Houston, TX – Helen Cook, owner of PrimeStar Publicity and Public Relations, has set up a page on GoFundMe.com for the sole purpose of raising $25,000 US dollars to purchase land and start construction on a building to house fifty Ugandan orphans and a small staff of four.
Even though the Light for Orphans Ministry (LFOM) must be registered and licensed with the government of Uganda, they receive no support because they are a Christian ministry.
Their daily needs – food, shelter, medical, clothing and education – are provided by a small group of dedicated donors, about eleven, here in the US and one in Australia.
The “LFOM family” is currently housed in a rented facility that was slated to be a motel, in the small village of Jinja, Uganda, East Africa. However, they have already outgrown the facility that they moved into less than two years ago when their numbers were less than forty.
It would be so wonderful for them to have a permanent home; one where they can continue to grow without facing the need to have to move out once again.
If your heart is moved to do so, you can make donations to the building fund at: https://www.gofundme.com/light-for-orphans-building-fund?ssid=819941954&pos=1
Maybe you would like to become a regular donor for the monthly needs of our beautiful family. If so, you can make donations to Light for Orphans Ministry (LFOM) c/o Helen Cook, 2668 Hwy. 36 S. #127, Brenham, TX 77833.
If you would like more information about LFOM, feel free to contact me either by phone at 903-654-0938 or email, [email protected].
