Self-help books are extremely popular, but throughout history, people have realized that they can accomplish much more by working together. That’s the premise behind the new “together-help” book from author Ziba Graham, Fix Your Marriage Without Counseling: A Practical Method Men Will Appreciate.
“Human culture is built on relationships, because it is only by working together that a civilization can advance,” Graham writes in his book. “As the world becomes more advanced, relationships become even more important. … That is why this isn’t a self-help book, but rather a together-help book.”
Fix Your Marriage Without Counseling offers proven strategies to strengthen any couple’s relationship — whether they’re in need of a minor tweak or a major overhaul.
When asked why he wrote the book, Graham said, “I want to strengthen marriages and reduce the number of divorces that are destroying families. Through years of counseling couples, I have developed a method that not only transforms marriages but also works without even seeing a counselor.”
The book takes readers through a step-by-step tutorial so they can apply Graham’s method to their own family. Chapters lead readers through the interactions that will mend and strengthen their most important relationships. Ultimately, Graham says his method works because it puts the participants in charge of changes. Readers are not following an outsider’s recommendations, but rather, coming up with their own plans for change.
“Before you resort to counseling, give this book a try to make your marriage easier and more enjoyable,” Graham added. “Do it for your kids!”
In a Midwest Book Review, Mary Cowper said, “Fix Your Marriage Without Counseling: A Practical Method Men Will Appreciate is a thoroughly ‘reader/user’ friendly resource for husbands and wives wanting ‘real world practical’ DIY solutions to the problems arising in the marriages, without the necessity of a third-person arbitrator, counselor, or therapist. Insightful and thought-provoking, Fix Your Marriage Without Counseling from Wheatmark is especially and unreservedly recommended for personal, professional, community, and college/university library Marriage Counseling collections and supplemental curriculum studies lists.”
