Understand the 7 Archetypes and Finally Meet Your Match

(This press release may be reprinted in part or entirety by any print or broadcast media outlet or used by any means of social media sharing.)

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

“Commitment can’t be forced, scheduled, or altered. It either comes from the heart or it doesn’t.” — Dr. Carmen Harra

What does your dream relationship look like? Perhaps you’re looking for a fairy tale, or a lifetime of financial stability, or just the “perfect” partner to grow old with. You may have already created a “type” in your mind, and you’re looking for the person who checks all the boxes. But what if this approach to love is wrong?

Preconceived standards and expectations about relationships can be misleading at best and flat-out harmful at worst, explains world-renowned psychologist Carmen Harra.

Whether you’re entering the dating scene for the first time, starting over or hoping to strengthen a current relationship, Harra’s new book, Committed: Finding Love and Loyalty Through the Seven Archetypes, will prompt you to reevaluate the way you think about love — and ultimately make better choices.

“Before you can find a devoted partner, you have to unlearn other people’s versions of love and relearn your own,” she said.

In Committed, Harra and co-author and daughter Alexandra Harra, who is a certified relationship coach, explain the seven main archetypes we all encounter, the promises they hold and the challenges they pose to relationships.

The first part of Committed is devoted to the work we need to do on the inside, and readers will learn how to reexamine core beliefs they hold, clear karmic patterns, heal any emotional trauma, liberate themselves from people who no longer serve them and develop an unshakable sense of self-worth.

The second half of the book teaches readers how to identify archetypes in others and themselves, navigate the world of online dating, build emotional intimacy, mediate external influences and apply real-world solutions to resolve relationship problems.

Ultimately, Committed aims to help you find and keep the love you deserve: an authentic, impassioned relationship that fills you with excitement each morning and puts your mind at ease every night.

Carmen Harra is an intuitive psychologist, best-selling author, radio show host and relationship expert. In the past 25 years, she has helped over 40,000 people rediscover peace of mind, reclaim personal power and regain joy. Her clients come from all walks of life, from the lady next door to Hollywood celebrities and eminent politicians. She’s the author of international best-sellers like Everyday Karma, Decoding Your Destiny, The Eleven Eternal Principles, and Wholeliness, among others. Carmen has been featured in such publications as The New York Times, New York Post, and New York Daily News, and on shows like Good Morning America, The View, Good Day New York, the Today show, and Fox News. Son’s Quest for Father’s Buried Treasure Leads to Unforgettable Journey

Son’s Quest for Father’s Buried Treasure Leads to Unforgettable Journey

(This press release may be reprinted in part or entirety by any print or broadcast media outlet, or used by any means of social media sharing.)

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

John “Blackie” Rinaldi had been dead for more than six years before his enigmatic letter surfaced. In it, Blackie described a cache of stolen money — hinting at its origins and its whereabouts — and prompting his son to embark upon the journey of a lifetime.

Fool’s Errand from Jeffrey S. Stephens takes readers on a fast-paced quest for riches that skillfully explores the complexities of father-son relationships through the eyes of Blackie’s son, who feels compelled to unravel the mystery his father left him to solve. Why hadn’t his father simply told him about the hidden treasure before his death?

It’s just one of many questions as Blackie’s son follows the letter’s trail of breadcrumbs from the mean streets of New York to the Las Vegas Strip, and ultimately to the South of France. Along the way, he is confronted by dangerous mobsters, dishonest relatives, suspicious friends, a mysterious woman and the risks of a journey his father may or may not have planned for him.

Each secret revealed leads to more questions, as his life-altering pursuit for answers takes thrilling twists and perilous turns until the very end.

Fool’s Errand is poignant and entertaining, humorous and exciting, romantic and mysterious — an adventure that convincingly explores the dynamic between a father and son, and the events that will eventually lead a young man to discover both the treasure and himself.

Author Jeffrey S. Stephens lives in Greenwich, Connecticut. He is also the author of the Jordan Sandor espionage thrillers, beginning with Targets of Deception and, most recently, Rogue Mission. He is also the author of the recent thriller, Crimes and Passion, the first in a planned series featuring Lieutenant Robbie Whyte.

Free And Fearless Depicts Power Of Human Spirit, Offers Source Of Inspiration For Challenging Times

(This press release may be reprinted in part or entirety by any print or broadcast media outlet, or used by any means of social media sharing)

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Brittany Moser was a spirited, happy-go-lucky young woman who lived life to the fullest and made it her mission to enrich the lives of everyone she encountered. A flight attendant, Brittany was suddenly grounded by a rare and incurable disease. She decided to embark upon the adventure of a lifetime, and asked her best friend — her father — to accompany her. Their unforgettable journey would eventually result in Free and Fearless: The Amazing Impact of One Precious Life, an award-nominated story that underscores the resiliency of the human spirit, puts everyday problems into their proper perspective and proves that love truly does conquer all.

“This book is not about the grief of losing a child, but about making the most out of what we are given and living our lives positively and not out of fear,” writes author (and Brittany’s father) Philip Moser. “Brittany inspired me, an ordinary farm boy, to explore life, to climb mountains and to write a book.”

In 2015, Brittany was diagnosed with Addison’s disease, a rare condition that can lead to adrenal failure. She passed away in 2017.

Free and Fearless is the honest, poignant account of Brittany’s legacy and the ripple effect that her outlook on life had on those around her. Among Brittany’s valuable life lessons that Philip shares with readers are:

  1. How precious life is and how we can affect the people around us;
  2. How an open mind and a positive attitude can inspire us to do things we never thought possible;
  3. How to move out of our comfort zones and into a challenging existence that can turn each day into an exciting gift to be explored;
  4. How to not let fear control us, and to use our abilities to seek unique, positive and in-spiring adventures;
  5. To embrace change as a natural part of life;
  6. And finally, that we won’t be remembered by our things or our savings accounts, but by how we made other people feel.

“I want to share the same inspiration that I received for 32 years,” Philip added. “In the end, love truly does conquer all, and Brittany wanted us to know that.”

Author Philip Moser grew up on a farm in Angola, Indiana. After high school, he began working in different aspects of the grocery business, a career that continues to this day. He and his wife, Marilyn Wells, raised two incredible daughters, Camille and Brittany.

Are You Raising Or Teaching A Bully?
This enlightening children’s book shows that the key to creating a generation of
kinder, more resilient kids is to stop the first bully they encounter—THEMSELVES!

Words have power. The words others say to us can either lift us as high as the clouds, or drop us down like a crashing plane. But what about the words we tell ourselves? What about that constantly running inner voice? In truth, what we say to ourselves impacts us even more than what others say to us.

“Pigtails are for babies!” she snarled at me. Her words hurt more than the time I broke my arm. I quickly untied my hair. I wore my hair down for the rest of the school year.

That was the first time I met the Big Bad Bully … She called me names like “fatty,” “piglet” and “ugly.” Things are worse now that I am in the 6th grade. Even when I don’t see her, I can always hear the whispers, the giggles, and the growls.

So goes the mesmerizing story of a young girl who grows up with a voice that ridicules and demeans her. In the end, we discover that her tormentor is staring back at her every day in the mirror.

Featuring stunning artwork–and small enough to fit in a backpack–this profound book is a tool for engaging children, young adolescents, parents, and caring adults about the impressions they make on themselves with their thoughts and self-talk. Included are powerful workbook exercises and resources for implementing healthy self-esteem habits that can last a lifetime.

Journal Empowers Caregivers To Reflect On Their Own Needs

Rosalyn Carter said it best: “There are only four kinds of people in the world — those who have been caregivers, those who are currently caregivers,
those who will be caregivers, and those who will need caregivers.” Yes, It Really Is All About Me is an enlightening book from Darleen Miller that seeks to empower selfless caregivers to create their own personal to-do list that nurtures the mind, body and spirit.

“Whether we are parents, grandparents, teachers or medical professionals, we all belong to a community of caregivers, and we often neglect our own needs,” Miller explains. “As we explore your personal Journey of a Lifetime, this inspirational journal will help define and support your relationship with self.”

Yes, It Really Is All About Me features a journal format that guides readers through a step-by-step journey of self-realization and self-nurturing, beginning with the question, ‘Who am I?’ The book is divided into four categories: Physical, Intellectual, Emotional and Spiritual, with written exercises, insights from the author and positive statements of empowerment.

Designed for the caregiver who loves others and wants to serve their world, Yes! It Really Is All About Me aims to impact the lives of caregivers by raising their conscious awareness of their own needs and leading them down a nurturing path where they feel loved and appreciated in their service.

At an early age, author Darleen Miller began her own personal journey as a lifelong teacher and caregiver to her parents, grandparents and her three children. During her 47-year marriage, Miller supported her husband’s military career and became his primary caregiver as he battled cancer for the last 12 years of his life. He passed away at their home with hospice care in July 2010. This experiential workbook is a reflection of Miller’s holistic self-exploration in caregiving experiences. Her passion for teaching, writing and healing unite as tools to help fellow caregivers embrace a new conscious awareness of life. Miller offers numerous classes that focus on mind, body and spiritual development with self-empowerment.

Love Researcher Explains Neuroscience Behind Valentine’s Day

Fort Lauderdale, FL – The legend states that Valentine was arrested and put to death by Emperor Claudius II. Valentine was defying orders and secretly helping soldiers to marry. But why would Claudius II not want his soldiers to marry?

Here’s where the neuroscience comes in. It turns out that when a man marries, his testosterone drops. So, Claudius’ decree against marriage makes biological sense. If you want an aggressive army that will fight your battles, it’s better to have single, highly testosterone-fortified men.

Think that’s crazy? It turns out that lower testosterone is not the only crazy thing that happens to us when we fall in love.

In a dramatic presentation, Love Biologist Dawn Maslar cuts up a brain to show what love does to us. When we fall in love, this is what can happen to our brain:

• We can lose cognitive ability
• We can lose the ability to accurately judge our partner – that’s why they say ‘love is blind’
• We can lose the ability to feel concern if we detect a problem
• We can experience an increase in self-transcendence – being in love makes us feel less selfish and more connected to the world

In addition:

• Our serotonin (hormone of happiness) can fall to the level of someone with obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD)
• His testosterone drops but hers goes up – making her sexually charged
• This effect is temporary – lasting between 1 and 3 years

Don’t worry, while the craziness is temporary, the love CAN last a lifetime. In fact, Valentine’s Day helps since the following can also kick-in:

• Red hearts, cards and clothes boost his testosterone which can increase the romance
• Giving chocolate on Valentine’s Day can boost dopamine – an important neurotransmitter of long-term love
• Doing new and novel things with a partner can also boost dopamine
• Spending quality time together increases oxytocin – the bonding hormone
